50 Most Expensive Celebrity Plastic Surgeries
Come on, show us that million-dollar smile! Whether you’re walking the red carpet in a sequined gown or dashing tux, heading to the mall for some weekend shopping or making the trek to the local grocery store in sweats and a baseball cap, everyone wants to look beautiful. From little girls begging to try on their moms’ high heels and old ladies putting on their Sunday finest to middle-aged men looking to hide the grey hair in their beards, who doesn’t want to look their best?
For most of us, looking our best often means a special outfit, a new hairstyle or an extra dab of cologne to boost our confidence. However, celebrities raking in big paychecks tend to take their looks and their beauty to the next level with – you guessed it – plastic surgery. What’s a few thousand dollars to tuck, tighten, pull, veneer, laser or chisel anyway?
From lip augmentations, fillers and rhinoplasties to breast implants, eyelid surgeries, tummy tucks, butt implants, facelifts and more, Hollywood’s hottest celebrities continue to prove that nothing is off limits when it comes to their looks. Spending thousands (and even millions) of dollars, we found 50 of the most expensive celebrities whose plastic surgery bills are literally through the roof! Are you curious? Let’s take a look at these celebrities who quit chasing the fountain of youth and simply bought it instead.
#50 – Kelly Rowland ($3,900)
Kicking off our list with one of pop music’s most popular groups of the new millennium, Kelly Rowland rose to fame alongside Michelle Williams and Beyonce Knowles as Destiny’s Child. Together, the group became one of the best-selling girl groups of all time selling over 60 million records and winning dozens of awards before disbanding in 2005. With Beyonce launching her solo career, Rowland followed suit and released hit singles like “Dilemma,” “Work” and “When Love Takes Over.”
Looking hotter than ever before at 35 years old and after giving birth to a son in 2014, the former Destiny’s Child singer has done more than simply eating clean and exercising to enhance her look. Admitting that she wanted to get breast implants at 18 years old, Rowland waited 10 years after her mom and Beyonce’s mom encouraged her to think long and hard before going under the knife and forever changing her appearance.
At 28 years old and after months of walking around in padded bras to get comfortable with a larger bust size, Rowland spent nearly $4,000 on breast implants. Thrilled with her new look and happy that she waited a decade before the surgery, Rowland continues to turn heads with her stunning beauty and talent as part of the television series Empire in addition to her most recent debut on Chasing Destiny, a search to find the next superstar female group.
#49 – Iggy Azalea ($4,300)
Born as Amethyst Amelia Kelly in Sydney, Australia in 1990, Iggy Azalea has broken every stereotype imaginable when it comes to female rappers and hip hop artists. Moving to the United States to pursue a music career at 16 years old, Azalea first rose to fame on YouTube before landing a contract with Grand Hustle Records in 2012. Today, she’s one of the biggest names in the industry with chart-topping (and catchy) hits like “Fancy,” “Black Widow” and “Problem.”
Just like Kelly Rowland, the 25-year-old Azalea has been very open about her looks and admitted in a 2015 interview with Vogue that she wanted breast implants her entire life before finally feeling emotionally and physically ready for the change. Spending $4,300 on the implants and a nose job just months later, Azalea didn’t take the decision lightly and initially intended to keep her surgery private to keep others from feeling self-conscious about their own bodies.
Confident, talented and beautiful both on stage and off, Azalea now sees herself as a modern example for women around the world to feel more confident in their own skin. Agreeing that plastic surgery is an emotional journey, Azalea wants to make cosmetic procedures easier to admit and talk about because, as she says, “I think more people need to admit to doing it so that it doesn’t have to be so taboo – because we’re all doing it anyway.” We couldn’t agree more!
#48 – Dianna Agron ($5,100)
Making her television debut a decade ago on CSI: New York, Dianna Agron landed recurring roles on Veronica Mars and Heroes before catching her first major break on Glee in 2009 as Quinn Fabray. As the Fox series amassed a huge following over its successful six-year run, Agron had already established herself as a talented and stunning star on the silver screen thanks to appearances in films like I Am Number Four, The Hunters, The Family, Bare and Zipper that kept her in the spotlight.
Though not as visible as her Glee days, the 29-year-old Agron is still making headlines today thanks to her recent engagement to Winston Marshall of Mumford and Sons. Long before that, however, Agron shocked late night audiences in 2011 with an even juicier story when she told David Letterman that she spent $5,100 on a rhinoplasty! Admitting she liked her nose just fine, Agron had no other choice but to repair the damage from a blow she took to the face at 14 years old.
A real blonde bombshell who can obviously take a punch, Agron is undoubtedly breathing a lot easier these days as she plans her upcoming nuptials to Marshall while balancing a busy work schedule. And, speaking of work, if you’re looking to catch the former Glee star and her perfectly sculpted nose on the silver screen, be sure to check out A Conspiracy on Jekyll Island, an American thriller set to release in 2016.
#47 – Jane Fonda ($5,300)
With a career spanning nearly six decades, Jane Fonda is one of the biggest names in Hollywood who made her Broadway debut in the 1960 play There Was a Little Girl, which earned her two Tony Award nominations. Bitten by the acting bug, the two-time Academy Award winner has continued to prove her talents in television and film with hits like Klute, Coming Home, Julia and On Golden Pond as well as her latest Netflix series, Grace and Frankie.
No stranger to making headlines thanks, in part, to her highly publicized marriage to Ted Turner, Fonda proved she was even more than a silver screen star early in her career when she released an exercise video that flaunted her killer body and made her a true Hollywood babe. Releasing 22 additional videos over the next 13 years, it’s no surprise why the 78-year-old star makes the list after spending $5,000 on plastic surgery to erase any signs of aging.
Having undergone extensive cosmetic surgery over the last few years, Fonda has spared no expense in bidding farewell to her turkey neck as she’s gone under the knife to remove loose and sagging skin from under her chin and around her eyes. Openly admitting to also getting frequent Botox injections, Fonda says, “I wish I were brave enough to not do plastic surgery, but I think I bought myself a decade.” If it means we get to see more of her in the spotlight, then it’s alright with us!
#46 – Julie Chen ($6,000)
Born into a Chinese family in New York City, Julie Chen first got into journalism as an intern at CBS Morning News when she was only 20 years old. With opportunity knocking, Chen continued to rise through the ranks of the industry as a news reporter and producer before becoming a nationally recognized anchor by the age of 30. She then went on to co-host The Early Show for eight years while joining the hit reality series, Big Brother, in 2000 where’s she’s been the host ever since.
Though often criticized for her scripted and robotic reporting style that has earned her the nickname “Chenbot,” the 46-year-old host is one of the most beautiful and best dressed news personalities on television today. Despite her success, however, Chen hasn’t always felt beautiful and confident in her own skin especially as a young journalist launching her career in the early 1990s.
Fearing her Chinese features would hinder her career in front of the camera, Chen was only 25 years old when she decided to go under the knife. Working as a reporter in Dayton, Ohio before landing an anchor spot with CBS News, Chen spent $6,000 on cosmetic surgery to make her eyes wider and appear more open. Though it may have boosted her confidence, we can’t help but think that her talent rather than the surgery has been the key to her success!
#45 – Blake Lively ($7,300)
Sporting an obvious rhinoplasty as well as laser skin treatments to lighten and mask her freckles and blemishes, Lively initially denied having any work done (yeah, right!) but eventually fessed up to the truth. Aside from having her nose thinned and reshaped, the 26-year-old star also had eye surgery that was more than just about correcting her vision.
Running anywhere from $3,000 on up, Lively opted for blepharoplasty to freshen up her eyes. With a new nose, why not? During the procedure, Lively’s upper eyelids were lifted and tightened to eliminate and prevent a droopy or saggy look. The area just under her eyes, what many refer to as “bags” or “dark circles,” were also removed by a similar tightening procedure to give her that movie star glow. After all, what’s $7,300 to perfect her look when she’s married to People magazine’s sexiest man alive?
#44 – Megan Fox ($8,000)
Hotter than any explosion on the silver screen, Megan Fox is best known for her breakout role in the Transformers franchise but, has the Hollywood star undergone a transformation of her own? Of course, the spotlight doesn’t lie as there are telltale signs of enhancements from breast implants and lip fillers to cheek augmentations and even Botox, all of which Fox continues to deny!
Looking foxier than ever before with darker hair and pouty red lips, Fox’s physical changes made headlines after her recent role as April O’Neil in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles turned heads where her killer physique was impossible to hide. Spending nearly $4,000 of her Turtles paycheck on breast implants alone, Fox raised eyebrows with a curvier (and perkier) chest that left little question as to whether they were real or not.
Dropping another $4,000 (merely pocket change for this Hollywood hottie, right?), Fox completed her look with cheek augmentation, lip fillers and Botox. During the augmentation procedure, surgeons enhanced Fox’s cheeks by placing solid implants over her cheekbones to drastically highlight her facial structure. As for her lips, Fox made sure her signature smile was memorable after having her lips injected with dermal fillers to ensure they were perfectly plump and pouty for every red carpet strut. Who says money (to the tune of $8,000) can’t help a starlet snatch up all the major silver screen roles?
#43 – Victoria Beckham ($8,000)
“If you wanna be my lover…” While the days of Scary, Sporty, Baby, Ginger and Posh of Spice Girls fame has come and gone, Victoria Beckham is still one of the most popular women in the United Kingdom (and across the world) today. From dominating the charts in the late 1990s and early 2000s with the all-girl band, Beckham has since established herself as a fashion and style icon who just so happens to also be married to soccer star David Beckham.
With an estimated net worth of $300 million and the spotlight constantly focused on her every move, Beckham turned heads in 2008 when she walked the red carpet with a significantly larger bust size – from a 34A to a 34DD. Denying any claims of having breast implants throughout her career, it wasn’t until 2014 when Beckham’s chest took center stage once again when she shocked the media and admitted the truth about her ever-changing bust.
Despite getting breast implants in 2008, Beckham had her first breast reduction surgery to the tune of $4,000 in 2009 that took her 34DDs down to a more manageable 34B. By 2011 and after the birth of her daughter, Beckham forked over another $4,000 (only pocket change for this star!) to reduce her breasts once again giving her a more natural look that the world could easily recognize from her early days as Posh when she first made her mark on the world.
#42 – Holly Madison ($8,800)
A staple of American pop culture for more than a half century now, Playboy magazine has seen dozens of women grace its cover and centerfold only to skyrocket to fame for their curvaceous beauty and sex appeal. Among these is Oregon native Holly Madison who was Playboy founder Hugh Hefner’s “#1 Girl” from 2001 until 2008. Rising to even greater popularity on the E! reality series The Girls Next Door, Madison went on to star in her own series – Holly’s World – while writing her memoir detailing her life as a former Playboy bunny.
Paying for her college tuition working as a model and waitress before catching Hefner’s eye in 2000, Madison’s appearance has always been at the heart of her success. Now at 36 years old and aging gracefully in the spotlight as a New York Times best-selling author and television personality, the former Playboy bunny speaks candidly about her cosmetic procedures and the pressures of maintaining her beauty while living in the Playboy Mansion.
On the brink of rising to fame as a Playboy bunny, Madison was only 21 years old when she had a breast augmentation that transformed her petite frame into a Barbie-like figure that took her bust size from an A-cup to a D. Just two years later and already living under Hefner’s watchful eye, the gorgeous blonde had a rhinoplasty that brought her plastic surgery bill to a whopping $8,800, which was a huge risk for a struggling model new to the ranks of the competitive Playboy world.
#41 – Suzanne Somers ($9,000)
“Come and knock on our door…” One of Hollywood’s greatest actresses, Suzanne Somers won over the hearts of audiences around the world when she brought the ditzy and adorable Chrissy Snow to life on the beloved Three’s Company. Recognized as a secret heartthrob among many family men throughout the late 1970s, Somers had pinup girl beauty but not even that could stand the test of time (thigh master or not!).
Now at almost 70 years old, Somers has spent an incredible $9,000 (and possibly more) on maintaining what many once called her “natural” beauty – too bad it’s not so natural anymore! Spending almost $6,000 on a facelift, Somers took drastic steps to improve the visible signs of aging on her face and neck when surgeons lifted and tightened her face near the ears and hairline to eliminate sagging, creases and loose skin.
Diagnosed with breast cancer in 2001, Somers didn’t want any foreign objects in her body (ironic, isn’t it?) and consulted with a Japanese doctor to help her re-grow her breast in a safe way. Since then, she’s managed to enhance quite a few other areas of her body as well after spending $3,000 on lip implants, breast operations and skin tightening procedures to help her regain her former confidence from her days posing for Playboy. We just can’t help but wonder – was it all worth it?
#40 – Lisa Rinna ($9,000)
From launching her acting career in a 1980s music video to playing Jason Bateman’s girlfriend on The Hogan Family, 52-year-old Lisa Rinna finally found her niche in the 1990s as a soap opera star. Best known for her role as Billie Reed on Days of Our Lives, Rinna has also appeared on Melrose Place, Celebrity Apprentice and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (as Harry Hamlin’s wife of 20 years) in addition to hosting the Soapnet talk show, Soap Talk.
Spending the last 30 years in the spotlight, Rinna has a whole list of cosmetic procedures under her belt but comes in surprisingly low on our list with a $9,000 total. Opting for dozens of minor surgeries like lifts and tucks to reduce sagging skin around her jawline, neck and eyes, Rinna has also had a breast augmentation, lip injections, cheek injections and, believe it or not, even a lip reduction! Paired with routine Botox injections to keep her skin looking youthful for the bright lights of Hollywood, this soap opera star is always ready for her next big scene.
#39 – Kim Novak ($9,200)
First signing to Columbia Pictures in 1954, Kim Novak is one of the most seasoned celebrities on our list at 83 years old. Launching her career in films like Picnic, The Man with the Golden Arm and the Alfred Hitchcock classic Vertigo, Novak took a step back from acting in the late 1960s after a series of unsuccessful films. Returning to the silver screen with sporadic appearances throughout the 1980s, Novak retired in 1991 after a less than stellar experience working on the film Liebestraum.
After Novak disappeared from the spotlight in 1991, her fans (and the rest of Hollywood for that matter) imagined she was gone forever. It turns out, however, that Novak had another plan in mind and kept herself busy trying to find the fountain of youth through plastic surgery. Opting for cheek implants, a brow lift, and Botox injections to tuck, tighten and enhance, Novak took the stage at the 2014 Oscars alongside Matthew McConaughey looking completely unrecognizable. Amid stares and whispers, Novak learned that beauty isn’t cheap as she faced a $9,200 “Oscar ready” surgery bill.
#38 – Tara Reid ($9,500)
Launching her acting career on commercials for brands like Jell-O, Crayola and McDonald’s at only six years old, Tara Reid has had an on-again, off-again career over the past 29 years. Instantly becoming a star in the late 1990s thanks to films like American Pie and Urban Legend, Reid went on to star in Van Wilder and My Boss’s Daughter before a highly publicized meltdown brought widespread media attention. Since then, Reid has bounced back into the spotlight with appearances on Celebrity Big Brother as well as the Sharknado trilogy.
Joining the ranks of the plastic surgery wall of shame (only momentarily), Reid has had more than her fair share of mishaps throughout her career in the spotlight including a breast augmentation and tummy tuck that left her skin ragged and scarred across her once smooth torso. Dishing out over $9,500 for the procedures, the now 40-year-old Reid had the surgery corrected and revealed her new body in 2009 with an appearance in Playboy magazine. As for the $9,500 price tag, we hope she asked for a refund!
#37 – Courtney Love ($9,800)
When it comes to grunge and punk rock in the early 1990s, one artist who immediately comes to mind is California’s notorious wild child – Courtney Love. The lead singer of the band Hole, Love established herself as an industry icon known for her confrontational lyrics in songs like “Violet,” “Doll Parts” and “Celebrity Skin.” Her highly publicized marriage to Nirvana’s lead singer, Kurt Cobain, only further solidified her celebrity status and guaranteed her a spot in hundreds of Hollywood headlines.
Characterized by her uninhibited spirit and rebellious nature, Love has stayed true to form over the years with a dramatic transformation in her physical appearance right before our very eyes. Starting with a rhinoplasty early in her career, Love has spent over $9,800 on every procedure imaginable from a facelift to lip injections and a breast augmentation that many believe have left her entirely unrecognizable. Though still on tour and with a return to the silver screen in 2015, perhaps this new look is exactly what the 51-year-old rocker needs for the next chapter of her career!
#36 – Pamela Anderson ($10,500)
First discovered wearing a beer t-shirt at a Canadian Football League game, Pamela Anderson went on to launch her modeling career in 1989 on the October cover of Playboy magazine. From there, the curvaceous blonde bombshell made the transition to television after landing a role on Home Improvement and later starring alongside David Hasselhoff in Baywatch from 1992 to 1997.
The object of many men’s desires, fans would have happily gone swimming without a life vest if it meant Anderson would come to their rescue – and with striking blonde hair, a pouty face and two huge life preservers of her own, why not? Long before Baywatch, however, Anderson already knew the value of her looks when she dropped over $4,000 on her first breast enhancement surgery that took her to a busty 34-D for her petite frame and further sealed her fate as one of Playboy’s favorites.
After ongoing drama involving a sex tape scandal with Tommy Lee during the late 1990s, Anderson took the constant media attention to even greater heights when she famously debuted an even bigger bust size (34-DD) on the red carpet. Claiming her new fun bags were nothing more than a personal preference to enhance her fun and flirty look, Anderson is also rumored to have spent another $2,500 on skin tightening procedures to remove signs of aging. Now, as the last to pose nude for Playboy, it’s no surprise why Anderson has gone broke for beauty!
#35 – Trista Sutter ($10,650)
“Will you accept this rose?” Reality television made its debut in the late 1990s and early 2000s with hit shows like Survivor, Big Brother and The Bachelor where we first met Trista Sutter. Joining the ranks of reality television stars, Sutter was the runner-up on the first season of The Bachelor and left the series without a final rose but ultimately got the better deal. Given her own companion show the next season called The Bachelorette, Sutter found true love with a Colorado fireman named Ryan who won her heart.
Exchanging their vows on national television in 2003 and given $1 million from ABC for the three-episode series, the former Miami Heat cheerleader waited years after appearing on reality television before deciding to go under the knife. Spending over $10,000 (pennies compared to ABC’s $1 million gift), Sutter had a blepharoplasty to reconstruct and lift her eyelids as well as a breast augmentation and lift. Now 43 years old, still married and a mom to two children, Sutter is hotter than ever as one of The Bachelorette’s first success stories!
#34 – Clay Aiken ($10,800)
Who could forget the first season of American Idol as fans excitedly watched Kelly Clarkson sing her way to victory? With the second season even more popular than the first as Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard battled it out, Studdard may have won the competition but Aiken proved to be an even bigger star thanks to the release of his album, Measure of a Man, in 2003. Continuing to pursue his dreams of a music career and riding the curtails of fame from the show, the North Carolina native released four albums over the next five years before shifting his focus to politics.
First taking the Idol stage as a lanky redhead with a big voice, Aiken has had his fair share of plastic surgery over the last decade especially along his jawline. Although the 37-year-old musician turned politician claims that his $35,000 surgery was related to his extreme TMJ, it appears to be more cosmetic than medical since he had liposuction on his chin to create a more chiseled look. Don’t believe us? Just compare his Idol debut to his latest political snapshot!
#33 – Patricia Heaton ($11,500)
Winning the hearts of audiences as Raymond Barone’s overworked, exhausted and cranky wife on Everybody Loves Raymond, Patricia Heaton sealed her fate as a Hollywood star and even took home a pair of Primetime Emmy Awards for her stellar performance. Spending nearly a decade in the role from 1996 until 2005, opportunity knocked once again in 2009 when Heaton was cast in the starring role as Frankie Heck on ABC’s hit sitcom, The Middle, where she’s been ever since.
Typically cast as a strong and comedic mother figure, plastic surgery might be a stretch for Heaton’s on-screen characters but, for the actress herself, it’s an entirely different story. Giving birth to four sons since 1990, Heaton spent an upwards of $11,500 to reduce the signs of aging when she opted for a tummy tuck and breast reduction to keep her body looking fit for Hollywood. Though rumors suggest the 58-year-old actress has also had a facelift and Botox injections, whatever she’s doing is working because, these days, everybody loves Patricia!
#32 – Meg Ryan ($11,750)
Once considered America’s sweetheart, Meg Ryan rose to fame in the late 1980s after appearances in films like Top Gun and Promised Land led her straight to the leading role in the 1989 hit When Harry Met Sally opposite Billy Crystal. Quickly becoming the go-to-girl for romantic comedies, Ryan went on to star in films like Joe Versus the Volcano, Sleepless in Seattle and You’ve Got Mail opposite Tom Hanks while sealing her fate as one of Hollywood’s favorite leading ladies.
Despite once being in Hollywood’s good graces, the tides have turned for Ryan who has received widespread criticism for her constantly changing looks that have made her the butt of many jokes. Spending $11,750 on everything from a facelift and a neck lift (not to mention enough fillers to last a decade), many feel that Ryan belongs on the plastic surgery wall of shame. Whatever the case, we definitely don’t want what she’s having!
#31 – Nadya “Octomom” Suleman ($12,810)
First gaining fame in January 2009 after giving birth to octuplets via in vitro fertilization, Nadya Suleman continued to make headlines around the world after revealing that she already had six other children at home, was unemployed and using government assistance programs just to get by. So, why not bring eight more kids into the mix? That sounds sane, right?
Obviously a new kind of crazy, Suleman found herself as a mother to 14 children with a body that had literally been put through the ringer. Like so many other moms, she too wanted to look her best after having kids so, instead of hitting the gym and cutting carbs, she headed straight for the plastic surgeon. After 14 kids, squats were obviously out of the question and cardio most likely wouldn’t help!
Spending almost $13,000 on plastic surgery, Suleman was determined to get her life (and looks) back on track as she took the spotlight as a public figure, p*** star and single mom. Opting for vaginal rejuvenation surgery that cost around $5,900, surgeons essentially gave her vagina a “face lift” to restore its function and appearance. She then spent nearly $7,000 on lip injections and a nose job to enhance her lips and to reconstruct her nose with a small bridge to elongate her face. It’s no surprise with 14 kids and a cosmetic surgery bill nearing $13,000 why Suleman continues to face financial trouble!
#30 – Denise Richards ($13,000)
Every decade has its fair share of celebrity hotties and the 1990s was no different thanks to Illinois native Denise Richards. Launching her career as a model and aspiring actress, Richards first made appearances in series like Married…with Children and Saved by the Bell before being cast in films like Starship Troopers and Wild Things. Closing out the decade as a Bond girl in The World is Not Enough, Richard’s fame was on an uphill climb as she landed her own reality show and married the outrageous Charlie Sheen.
With her modeling and acting career based primarily on her looks, Richards was only 19 years old when she went under the knife for breast implants that led to a botched procedure when doctors gave her larger breasts than she wanted. Three augmentation surgeries and a whopping $13,000 later, Richards finally found the right size and shape for her frame but that may not be the last of her surgery bill. Rumors are running wild about the 45-year-old’s alleged rhinoplasty that has left her nose far thinner than her Hollywood debut nearly 30 years ago.
#29 – Kim Kardashian ($16,500)
Known as a reality star, Kanye’s wife and mom to kids North and Saint West, if you don’t know who Kim Kardashian is then there’s a fairly good chance you just might live under a rock. Essentially the biggest celebrity in the world who gained fame for being, well…famous, Kardashian is worth $85 million which makes the $16,500 she spent on plastic surgery seem like mere pennies!
Living life in the public eye on Keeping Up with the Kardashians not to mention her highly publicized marriage to Kanye, it’s no surprise that Kardashian has opted for cosmetic surgery to ensure her looks are the best money can buy. In fact, we can’t help but wonder what exactly Kim hasn’t gotten tucked, tightened, enhanced or touched up?
Starting at the top, Kardashian spent an upwards of $500 on laser hair removal to remove the baby hair at the top of her forehead for a cleaner and sleeker look. She dropped around $5,000 for rhinoplasty where surgeons shortened and thinned her nose (no, it’s not a makeup trick like she claims!). Add in another $5,000 and Kardashian enjoys a fresh look thanks to Botox to arch her eyebrows, lip fillers, skin tightening treatments to reduce sagging and cheek injections to enhance her cheekbones. Saving the best for last, she’s even enhanced her claim to fame – her derriere – with butt implants that have taken her rear into a zip code all on their own.
#28 – Heather Locklear ($18,500)
Rising to stardom in the late 1980s after working briefly as a model, Heather Locklear has been a part of some very successful television shows with major roles in hits like Spin City, Dynasty, Melrose Place, T.J. Hooker and Hot in Cleveland. No stranger to the silver screen thanks to films like Money Talks and Uptown Girls, the 54-year-old actress has spent the last 30 years making headline after headline not only because of her incredible talent but also because of her high profile relationships with rockers Tommy Lee (1986-1993) and Richie Sambora (1994-2007).
Obviously one of the many actresses in Hollywood striving to maintain the beauty of her youth, Locklear has had a bevy of procedures to the tune of an astonishing $18,500! Don’t they always say that beauty doesn’t come cheap? Still rocking a killer body, Locklear has had a series of Botox injections as well as cheek implants and a facelift to eliminate early signs of sagging and aging. She’s also had a breast augmentation and a rhinoplasty but not even her new look has been enough to lure her back to the silver screen with her last film, Scary Movie 5, hitting the box offices three years ago in 2013.
#27 – Lil’ Kim ($19,625)
Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, not even native Brooklynites recognize the former Kimberly Denise Jones who is now better known by her stage name, Lil’ Kim. First debuting as an African American rapper in the 1990s, Lil’ Kim took a brief hiatus from the spotlight in 2008 after serving 12 months in prison only to return looking more like a white Muppet and less like herself.
Making her public debut after five (or more) plastic surgeries and spending nearly $20,000 to perfect her look, the notorious Lil’ Kim didn’t bat an eyelash (real or fake) when it came to dropping over $5,000 on a full body skin lightening surgery where dermatologists used chemicals, lasers and skin peeling to bleach her previously dark skin. Yikes!
With her pale new look, Kim then shifted her focus from her skin color to the rest of her body as she spent around $8,000 on breast implants, approximately $4,000 on rhinoplasty to elongate her nose and nearly $3,000 on liposuction, lip injections and cheek enhancements to finish off her new Muppet look. When all was said and done, Kim actually ended up having more plastic surgeries than hit singles over the last 15 years, a record she most likely never intended to make.
#26 – Janice Dickinson ($19,900)
Often considered the world’s first supermodel, Janice Dickinson was one of the most successful models throughout the 1970s and 1980s because of her ethnic look that set her apart from a sea of blue-eyed blondes walking the catwalk. Gracing the covers of magazines like Cosmopolitan, Playboy and Vogue, Dickinson later established her own modeling agency before taking her talents to reality television where she’s been a judge on America’s Next Top Model as well as the star of her own series, The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency.
Spending the last four decades in such a highly competitive industry where her looks are everything, the 61-year-old Dickinson says that she’s “no stranger to plastic surgery.” In fact, the model, talent agent and author told the Botched crew that she has had “a facelift, a brow lift, a tummy tuck and fillers” that ensure her a place in the spotlight until she’s ready to retire. As for the cost of her beauty, she’s dished out nearly $20,000 without giving it a second thought.
#25 – David Gest ($20,000)
Better known for his high profile friendships rather than his actual career, the late David Gest led an interesting life as an entertainer, comedian, television personality and producer up until his death in April 2016. Frequently making headlines during his brief marriage to Liza Minnelli in 2002, Gest’s friendship with the late Michael Jackson was the real ticket to success after he produced the highest rated music special in history when Michael and the Jacksons reunited for the first time in 17 years in 2001. Gest even took his fame abroad to England where he had three prime-time series and was a contestant on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
Living the majority of his life in front of the camera, David Gest had a ton of plastic surgery done thanks, in part, to the encouragement of Michael Jackson. Spending $20,000 (and possibly more), Gest had multiple facelifts, a brow lift, Botox injections around the eyes and forehead, in addition to having fat suctioned from his chin to create a chiseled jawline. By the time he added fake eyebrows, Gest admitted that he regretted having so much work done especially when it came to nearly bleeding him dry.
#24 – NeNe Leakes ($20,500)
A minor and seemingly unknown actor throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, Linnethia Monique “NeNe” Leakes saw her career skyrocket after meeting the producers of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Cast on the show in 2008 and spending eight years on the reality series, Leakes has continued to prove her talents with a variety of roles and appearances over the last decade on shows like Glee, The New Normal, Dancing with the Stars and as a judge on To Tell the Truth and Fashion Police.
Often recognized for her sense of fashion and style, Leakes admitted in 2013 that she’s had plenty of help from plastic surgery when it comes to maintaining her curvaceous figure. The 48-year-old revealed that she’s spent a pretty penny (a whopping $20,500 to be exact) on a breast reduction, a rhinoplasty, liposuction and a breast lift to fine tune her look. Though we can’t imagine forking over that kind of cash, Leakes definitely looks hotter than ever before whether it’s fake or not!
#23 – La Toya Jackson ($21,500)
Perhaps one of the lesser known of the Jacksons (but no less talented), La Toya Jackson is the fifth child of the Jackson family who dreamed of becoming a lawyer before her father insisted she follow the family into show business. Launching her music career in the 1980s with hits like “Like I Do” and “Heart Don’t Lie,” Jackson made a comeback in the early 2000s but has since retired from the spotlight after spending the last 40 years as a musician, songwriter, author, activist, actress and model.
Like the rest of her family, Jackson is no stranger to going under the knife although her procedures are nothing compared to that of her brother Michael who we’ll see later on the list. As for the 60-year-old La Toya, she may be retired but that hasn’t stopped her from amassing a $21,500 surgery bill on everything from a brow lift and a facelift to breast augmentation and a rhinoplasty. While music undoubtedly runs in the family, it seems plastic surgery just might be a favorite Jackson pastime as well!
#22 – Dolly Parton ($23,000)
“Tumble out of bed and stumble to the kitchen, pour myself a cup of ambition…” A self-proclaimed “Backwoods Barbie,” Dolly Parton is the most honored female country performer of all time and is easily the most iconic. At nearly 70 years old, the sassy songbird has done everything possible to hold onto her youthful looks from her blonde hair and sequined dresses to her oversized chest and tiny waist – all to the tune of $23,000 (and counting!).
Intending to hold onto her looks for as long as she’s in the spotlight, Parton doesn’t deny spending a small fortune on her looks, openly admitting that whenever something starts to wrinkle or sag she sets up an appointment right away to get it tightened, tucked or touched up. So, the question remains: what exactly hasn’t Parton had done?
Well on her way to becoming the sexiest sequined grandma in country music, Parton’s most noticeable change has been her growing chest, costing the singer around $4,000 on breast implants alone. Determined to avoid any signs of aging, she dropped around $5,000 on a face lift to tighten and revitalize sagging skin and wrinkles to ensure a healthy glow. Add in $3,000 each for a brow lift and eyelid surgeries as well as almost $11,000 for a neck lift, chin augmentation and a drastic nose job and it’s no surprise that Parton agrees “it costs her a fortune to look this cheap.”
#21 – Donatella Versace ($25,000)
Talk about fright night! It may seem fairly self-explanatory that if you’re a multimillion dollar fashion designer then it’s absolutely vital to look your best for your brand. If you aren’t the pinnacle of modern fashion then who will buy your products, right? It turns out, however, that Donatella Versace might have taken fashion a bit to the extreme as she has obviously walked down a dark and dangerous path of botched plastic surgeries that have left her anything but beautiful.
The target of critics around the world, Versace has recently made headlines for something other than her sense of style – her face. Recognized as one of the richest women in the world with a net worth of $200 million, Versace spared no expense when it came to going under the knife – a decision that has obviously proved near fatal to her reputation.
Spending $25,000 on plastic surgery, Versace now looks like the life has been sucked out of her by none other than Dolly Parton herself. From Botox and laser surgery to fillers and injections, Versace obviously didn’t check her surgeon’s resume after dropping nearly $10,000 on a face lift that seems to have had the opposite effect! With over-plump lips from lip injections to sagging eyelids from bad Botox, it looks like she’s had a horrible allergic reaction to all things fake! Hurry, someone get this woman an epi-pen!
#20 – Vivica Fox ($26,085)
Getting her start in Hollywood as a soap opera star on Days of Our Lives and The Young and the Restless in the late 1980s, Vivica A. Fox has never quite become the A-list star she always imagined. Best known for her roles in films like Soul Food, Independence Day and Kill Bill, Fox hasn’t given up on her dreams and has turned to plastic surgery to maintain her stunning beauty in a world of young Hollywood hopefuls.
Once recognized for her incredible natural beauty and doe-eyed charismatic stare, the 51-year-old Fox has spent over $26,000 on improving and enhancing her looks much to the dismay of her fans. Widely criticized for ruining her looks, Fox can’t hide her poor judgment especially when it comes to spending almost $5,000 on breast implants that look more like squashed melons on her chest.
Aside from her squishy breast implants, Fox has spent thousands on Botox and lip injections to tighten the skin around her eyes and forehead – after all, laugh lines and crows’ feet have no place in Hollywood. She also spent an upwards of $6,000 on jaw reconstruction where surgeons inserted implants to give her jawline a more definitive shape. But, that’s not all! She’s also had a facelift to tighten what the Botox couldn’t fix as well as cheek implants (no, that’s not a makeup trick!) and a rhinoplasty to elongate and chisel her nose. So much for natural beauty!
#19 – Lara Flynn Boyle ($28,000)
Perhaps one of the more obscure celebrities on our list, Lara Flynn Boyle is best known for her performance in Men In Black II as well as her recurring role as Donna Hayward in the early 1990s series Twin Peaks, which is coincidentally returning to television in 2017. Much like the 1990s, Boyle’s fame has also come and gone (and peaked, if you will) leaving her to grab a slew of minor roles in shows like Ally McBeal and Las Vegas to fill her schedule.
Openly admitting her fear of aging as an actress in Hollywood, the now 45-year-old Boyle spent much of her 30s under the knife with the hopes that plastic surgery would revitalize more than just her look. Unfortunately for Boyle, however, the transformation proved costly at $28,000 and left the former star under the spotlight for less than ideal reasons.
Showing her first signs of surgery with lip injections, Botox and skin tightening, Boyle spent around $6,000 for a face lift to further tighten her skin to prevent any signs of aging. With nothing quite like denial, Boyle obviously didn’t stop there as she now looks puffier than ever before thanks to a series of botched facial fillers, a rhinoplasty to flatten her nose, lip augmentation to fill out her once thin lips and a brow lift. Needless to say, she looks more like she’s been stung by an angry bee, leaving us to wonder how the new Twin Peaks will ever explain this terrible and tragic midlife crisis.
#18 – Heidi Montag ($30,000)
No pain, no gain! A reality television personality, Heidi Montag has made quite the name for herself outside of television as a fashion designer, singer and author. Making her Hollywood debut in 2006 alongside her best friend, Lauren Conrad, on the MTV hit series The Hills, Montag wrapped up filming in 2010 and has since continued to make special appearances on shows like Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Contributing much of her success to The Hills, Montag learned early on that beauty (and money) would get her far in Hollywood. Taking the lesson to heart, Montag has done everything in her power to stay ahead of the growing talent in the reality television industry, including the unthinkable: having ten plastic surgeries in a single day!
Spending an astonishing $30,000, Montag had a brow lift and a rhinoplasty while other surgeons pinned her ears, shaved her chin (and not with a razor). As if this wasn’t enough, she also had two breast enhancements, her back scooped out, cheek augmentation with fat injections and liposuction on her outer and inner thighs! Although it seemed like a good idea at the time, Montag explained the process was so painful that she thought she was going to die, saying that the swelling was so bad she couldn’t use the bathroom for a few days. Needless to say, we doubt this blonde starlet will head back to surgery anytime soon!
#17 – Kathy Griffin ($30,000)
Kathy Griffin got her start as a comedian in the 1980s but there is certainly nothing funny about how quickly her career skyrocketed. After only 10 years in the industry, Kathy found herself in the spotlight landing regular gigs and getting film and television offers by the drove. Yet, something was missing.
Never feeling like the drop dead gorgeous lead she always imagined to be, Griffin spent much of her early career frustrated by being typecast into comical and quirky roles. Taking matters into her own hands, she thought that with a little extra push (and deep pockets to foot the bill) she could transform her looks and make it into the big time for sure.
First going under the knife in 1999, Griffin suffered nearly fatal complications from liposuction but that didn’t stop her from spending $30,000 just a few years later on more surgery. Saying goodbye to her curly locks, Griffin spent upwards of $1,000 on permanent hair straightening and another $5,000 on chemical peeling and Botox injections to smooth her skin of imperfections and wrinkles. She finished off her look with breast implants, brow and eyelid lifts to create a youthful look, and a rhinoplasty to thin her nose. Now, looking as gorgeous as ever, she’s happily still in the spotlight with a whole new wave of Hollywood offers. How’s that for making a comeback?
#16 – Nicki Minaj ($31,200)
“My anaconda don’t want none unless you got buns, hun!” First debuting in 2007 as a seemingly normal girl with huge talent hailing from Trinidad and Tobago, Nicki Minaj has come quite a long way in terms of her music and her looks. Now appearing more like a strange hybrid of a Barbie doll across four different ethnicities, Nicki’s new (and odd) looks haven’t stopped her from being an international music sensation known for her lyrics about sex and drugs – imagine that!
Spending a whopping $11,500 on three different cosmetic surgeries, Nicki’s cheapest trip under the knife is probably the most recognizable at first glance after she bleached her once fairly dark skin. Commonly known as skin lightening and running anywhere from $1,000 upwards, the procedure typically includes numerous chemical treatments, lasers and peeling to get the desired and much lighter effect.
As if her lighter look wasn’t enough, Nicki spent around $6,000 on a nose job or rhinoplasty where surgeons reconstructed the tip of her nose so that it would point down instead of up. Sounds crazy, doesn’t it? What’s even crazier is that Nicki spent upwards of $5,000 on her very first surgery – butt implants – where she had silicone implants inserted into each buttock to make her rear fuller and rounder. Where exactly does she find jeans that fit? Now, with a different nose and lighter skin, she literally makes millions by shaking her prosthetic butt around for the world to see. Talk about buns, hun!
#15 – Mickey Rourke ($36,000)
If you could sit down with one celebrity and listen to their tall tales and stories, chances are that Mickey Rourke is near the top of everyone’s list. Launching his acting career in the 1980s with films like 9 ½ Weeks and Barfly, Rourke left the silver screen to pursue a boxing career from 1991 until 1994 when he grew tired of the ring and returned to Hollywood. Making headlines for his notorious party-hard lifestyle, Rourke finally calmed his wild side (momentarily at least) to revitalize his career with award-winning performances in films like The Wrestler and Iron Man 2.
Despite only jumping in the ring for three years, Rourke took quite a few hits to the face and knew he couldn’t return to Hollywood looking haggard and roughed up. Set on making a comeback, Rourke didn’t think twice when he spent $36,000 for a facelift and six (that’s right, six!) rhinoplasties to make sure his face and nose were looking better than before. And, with his Golden Globe win in 2009 for The Wrestler and his stellar performance in The Expendables, this plastic surgery bill has undoubtedly already paid for itself!
#14 – Pete Burns ($38,000)
“You spin me right round, baby, right round…” First launching his music career in the United Kingdom with his band Dead or Alive in 1980, Pete Burns found mainstream success in 1985 with his hit single “You Spin Me Round.” From there, he became a polarizing celebrity known less for his music and more for his transformation from a man into a woman.
Pouring $38,000 into his journey to become the perfect female alive, Burns instead managed to become an outcast in the music industry as former fans and musicians no longer recognized the once beloved artist. Thanks to dozens of surgeries, many of which appear to be botched, Burns is now recognized (ironically enough) for his ever-changing androgynous looks that seem to be straight from a horror film’s worst nightmare.
So, where exactly should we start? Having every surgery imaginable from lip injections (looks painful, doesn’t it?) and face lifts to cheek implants and numerous rhinoplasties, there isn’t much of Burns’ original face left. Yet, the 56-year-old rocker promises that he’ll continue to go under the knife and do whatever it takes just to maintain his signature look. We just hope that he leaves the lights on because that look could scare even the wickedest of ghosts!
#13 – Roseanne Barr ($45,000)
Launching her career in stand-up comedy in the 1980s, Roseanne Barr became the target of some of the nastiest jokes in television history after being cast in 1988 as the titular character in the hit series Roseanne alongside the legendary John Goodman. A perfect fit for the wise-cracking matriarch who always got the last laugh, Barr spent nine seasons on the show and took home numerous awards for her performance; however, life after Roseanne proved to be much harder.
Tired of being cast as the fat comic relief, Barr figured it was time for a change in the mid-1990s and turned to plastic surgery to help. Spending around $4,000 for a rhinoplasty to refine the look of her nose, Barr dropped an upwards of $10,000 for breast reduction where surgeons removed excess breast fat, tissue and skin to better proportion her breasts with her body size. This drastically helped when she spent around $6,000 on a tummy tuck to remove excess fat and skin to smooth and firm her stomach.
By the late 1990s, Barr opted for her biggest surgery to date with a gastric bypass to shrink her stomach, which typically averages around $25,000. With the surgery as a catalyst for her weight loss, Barr’s confidence grew as she has since proven her talent as a producer, director and business owner. In fact, you can check out her newest look with her series of photos mimicking the Kardashians in what has proven to be an epic battle of selfies!
#12 – Caitlyn Jenner ($60,000)
From Olympic gold medalist to a reality television star, Caitlyn (formerly Bruce) Jenner was the talk of the town when he decided to embark on a brave journey of his own as he transformed himself from a man into a woman. Unlike Pete Burns who we saw earlier on our list, Jenner spared no expense on the transformation and has since been met with widespread acceptance for following her lifelong dreams of living life as a woman – high heels and all.
Despite fears that the public would shun her after living most of her life as a man, Jenner went full steam ahead with her transformation starting small with rhinoplasties and laser hair removal throughout the 1980s and 1990s while experimenting with hormones. It wasn’t until 2012 when news broke that she enjoyed cross-dressing that she knew the truth would soon be told.
Spending upwards of $60,000 on dozens of surgeries that stretch across her entire body from reducing her Adam’s apple to even creating breasts, the big finale for Jenner was a 10-hour facial feminization surgery that converted her masculine features like her defined jawline into a softer and more feminine look. After the surgery was complete, Jenner’s transformation had come full circle leaving her in a complete state of panic. Not to worry, Caitlyn – we’re fairly certain you weren’t the only one whose jaw dropped.
#11 – Barry Manilow ($70,000)
“At the copa, Copacabana – the hottest spot north of Havana…” Best known for serenading his audiences with hits like “Mandy,” “Can’t Smile Without You” and “Copacabana (At the Copa),” Barry Manilow first took the music world by storm in the late 1960s and early 1970s with his soothing melodies and lulling voice. For Manilow, however, his voice simply wasn’t enough as he always felt particularly unattractive for someone standing in the spotlight.
Thinking a change in appearance would do some good for his career and his sex life (more on that later), Manilow ended up making quite a few expensive mistakes. First going under the knife for a few minor touch ups like a brow lift, a forehead lift, a facelift, Botox injections and a blepharoplasty or eyelid surgery – ok, so they weren’t minor touch ups after all – the results were rather disappointing for Manilow who couldn’t see any change in his looks.
So, what’s a few more surgeries anyway? Throwing $70,000 on the table, the 72-year-old crooner went under the knife yet again demanding a different look and that’s exactly what he got. Now sporting a nearly unrecognizable face, Manilow has become a plastic surgery horror story who still manages to smile. What’s the catch? Looking puffier than ever before, Manilow has found love once again after meeting and marrying a man who adores his new look. Dare we ask if this was the inspiration for his hit song, “It’s a Miracle” – one can only imagine.
#10 – Kris Jenner ($70,000+)
Matriarch, manager and brooding mother to the Kardashian and Jenner clan, Kris Jenner embodies everything fans love to hate about the infamous Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Kylie princesses of reality television fame. As if anyone needed another reason to dislike her, Jenner actually loves plastic surgery and has absolutely no problem letting everyone know it. In fact, she enjoys the process so much that she has the operations filmed so she can go back and watch them for fun!
With a net worth estimated at an astonishing $125 million, Jenner has spent a measly (ha!) $70,000 on plastic surgery to freshen up her look over the last 40 years. Showing no signs of stopping, Jenner has even had two surgeries on her breasts alone – one to have them enhanced with silicone implants and another to have the implants removed after she decided she no longer liked how they looked!
Obviously with money to spend, Jenner has dropped thousands of dollars on Botox to ensure her skins looks ageless and smooth not to mention the numerous rhinoplasties she’s had to perfect the shape of her nose. Treating the surgeries like many people treat a dental appointment, Jenner’s obsession borders on an addiction as she claims it’s just part of the upkeep of being a woman in the spotlight. Sounds like a true Kardashian if you ask us.
#9 – Tom Jones ($90,000)
“What’s new, Pussycat? Whoa, whoa!” Rising to fame in the mid-1960s, Welsh musician Tom Jones has sung every genre of music imaginable from pop and rock to country, soul and show tunes in sold out venues over the last 53 years. Known for hits like “What’s New Pussycat,” “She’s a Lady” and “It’s Not Unusual,” Jones has had nearly 40 songs reach the top of the charts in the United Kingdom with 19 in the United States not to mention he’s been awarded knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II. That’s right, just call him Sir Tom Jones!
Now at 75 years old and still going strong, Jones has said that he’s never had a Botox injection but no one really believes him! Admitting that he has had a blepharoplasty (an eyelid lift) as well as a rhinoplasty and major dental work, Jones has racked up a $90,000 plastic surgery bill that also includes a facelift and dozens of other procedures to keep him looking stage-worthy. Of course, he can deny Botox all he wants but there’s only one way a face can look that frozen – just take a look at fellow crooners like Barry Manilow and Dolly Parton!
#8 – Joan Rivers ($99,000)
When you think of comedians who significantly changed the world of comedy, people like George Carlin, Richard Prior and Joan Rivers immediately come to mind. Recognized as one of the most controversial comedians in Hollywood and the first woman to host a late night talk show, Joan Rivers proved to the world that women could be funny with her self-deprecating humor, original style and relevance that spanned five decades.
Known for her sharp wit and for often saying what so many others wouldn’t, Rivers faced constant pressure throughout her career in the male-dominated world of comedy. Promising to stand her ground and keep her hard-earned place in the spotlight, Rivers turned to plastic surgery to defy the odds of aging while distracting her audiences with laughter usually at the expense of herself.
Far too stubborn to pack her bags and retire, Rivers spent almost $100,000 throughout her lifetime on 739 minor procedures to maintain her Hollywood glow. Making an ongoing joke about her hundreds of surgeries until her death at 81 years old in 2014, she became an expert in Botox injections, brow lifts and face lifts that left her face emotionless, which is exactly how she delivered her biting jokes.
#7 – Rumer Willis ($100,000)
The apple doesn’t fall far from the family tree when it comes to Rumer Willis, the daughter of actors Bruce Willis and Demi Moore. Making her film debut alongside her mother in the 1995 film Now and Then, Willis appeared with her father in The Whole Nine Yards and Hostage but has since taken her career into her own hands. Having appeared in hits like Pretty Little Liars and The House Bunny, Willis won the 20th season of Dancing with the Stars and made her Broadway debut in Chicago in 2015 where she stars as Roxie Hart.
With money obviously no concern (thanks mom and dad!), the 27-year-old Willis has completely transformed her look over the years. First opting for a jawline reconstruction (which Clay Aiken proved isn’t cheap), Willis has spent $100,000 on cosmetic surgeries from head to toe. Along with numerous facial procedures including a rhinoplasty, Botox and lip injections, Willis has also had breast implants and liposuction that have launched her to the top of the list of Hollywood’s hottest rising stars and celebrity daughters!
#6 – Sharon Osbourne ($185,000)
Take away the hair dye, dramatic makeup and crazy clothes and Sharon Osbourne is a surprisingly stunning woman, which is all the more confusing thanks to her rock star husband and musical prince of darkness himself, Ozzy Osbourne. First gaining fame after appearing on The Osbournes reality show in 2002, Osbourne has since become a household name as a passionate and kind talent judge on hit shows like The X Factor and America’s Got Talent.
Despite her on-screen confidence and sex appeal, Osbourne hasn’t always been confident with her looks and opted for her first plastic surgery after meeting Ozzy and worrying she might not be pretty enough to date a rock star. By 1978, she had a breast reduction in what became the first surgery in a series of many where she would try to transform herself into what she believed was the ideal shape and size.
After spending nearly $200,000 on various surgeries ranging from gastric bypass and Botox injections to rhinoplasties, face lifts, leg lifts, arm lifts and tummy tucks, Osbourne admits that there isn’t much left on her body that hasn’t been “tweaked, stretched, peeled, lasered, veneered, enhanced or removed altogether.” After a double mastectomy in 2012 as a result of breast cancer, Osbourne has since decided to embrace her body as it is and has vowed to never set foot in a surgeon’s office ever again.
#5 – Demi Moore ($500,000)
Launching her modeling career with a nude pictorial in 1981 shortly after dropping out of high school, Demi Moore has become a household name in Hollywood known for her talents as an actress, songwriter and filmmaker. With her breakout film role in About Last Night, Moore went on to star in hits like Ghost, A Few Good Men and Indecent Proposal only to become the highest paid actress in history after earning $12.5 million for her role in Striptease.
Speaking of a striptease, with a killer body and timeless beauty, Hollywood’s former bad girl has vehemently denied her youthful glow as the result of plastic surgery. Instead, she chalked it up to good genes, staying healthy and being in love – after all, she robbed the fountain of youth when she married Ashton Kutcher, don’t you remember? However, after years of questioning, the truth finally came out after her nasty split with Kutcher revealed that the fountain of youth was actually an operating table and a mountain of bills.
First admitting to getting breast implants, Moore finally came clean to $500,000 worth of plastic surgery after her most recent face lift didn’t go quite as planned. Caught red-handed, Moore owned up to her work, which includes everything from face lifts and cheek augmentation to Botox and even laser treatment on the wrinkles of her knees. No, we’re not kidding! With more than a half-million-dollar price tag, Moore swears by the work and claims it’s helped her stay in the spotlight this long not to mention attract young studs like Kutcher.
#4 – Cher ($750,000)
“I got you babe!” Over 50 years ago, Cher became an overnight sensation alongside her husband Sonny Bono when their song “I Got You Babe” topped charts around the world. Though the duo released several hits and starred in their own variety show, they divorced in 1975 leaving Cher to pursue a solo career where she found even greater fame with hits like “If I Could Turn Back Time.” Having since earned the nickname as the “Goddess of Pop” and often recognized as a trendsetter, Cher has worn many hats over the years as a successful model, actress, musician, author and director.
Almost 70 years old and with five decades in the public eye, Cher admits that she has been “fighting like hell” to look decades younger than she really feels. With an estimated net worth of $305 million, Cher hasn’t given a second thought to spending over $750,000 on cosmetic surgeries to tuck, tighten, laser and lift everything from head to toe. Among her long list of surgeries includes rhinoplasties, breast augmentation, Botox injections, liposuction and blepharoplasties to ensure the Goddess of Pop holds onto her title for at least a few more years.
#3 – Michael Jackson ($1 Million)
The legendary King of Pop, Michael Jackson spent his entire life at the center of controversy not only because he was one of most talented artists to ever take the stage but because of his personal life and his ever-changing physical appearance over the years. While many of the changes were attributed to an intense case of Vitiligo, controversy ensued as Jackson amassed a small fortune in plastic surgery bills after trying (and failing) to mask the noticeability of his condition.
By the time Jackson was already $350,000 in debt, he had undergone over 100 operations to change the shape of his face with countless rhinoplasties (nose jobs), eye lifts, brow lifts, cheek implants and jaw reconstruction, a procedure where surgeons even added a cleft to his chin. Jackson was so consumed with his appearance that the young musician the world had grown to know and love had continued to disappear with each new album release.
With a total bill of over one million dollars for his surgeries, Jackson was ultimately left with a crippled nose, a face that looked more like a medical experiment than something human, and a mountain of debt that left him no choice but to turn to his fans. Agreeing to fund a final tour to pay the bills, Jackson’s obsessions over his looks and his need for perfectionism ultimately led to his tragic death in 2009. Though controversy still surrounds his memory, he will always be remembered as the King of Pop…and of course for dangling his baby over a ledge. How’s that for a legacy?
#2 – Kylie Jenner ($2 Million)
The youngest celebrity on our list at 18 years old, Kylie Jenner – and the rest of her Jenner-Kardashian clan for that matter – certainly are obsessed with their looks, don’t you agree? Coming in at number two, Kylie is the most severe surgery hound on the list after accumulating a gargantuan surgery bill of $2 million! Come on now, Kylie! Despite your denials of only going under anesthesia at the dentist, the world knows your chest didn’t grow two sizes simply because of some magic fairy dust!
Speculations over Kylie’s lips in early 2015 led the reality television star to finally admit to having a lip augmentation to fill out her lips. Often considered the “lost” or “forgotten” sister, Kylie’s low self-esteem when it came to her thin lips led her straight to the surgeon’s office, which was against her mom’s wishes (and we all know how much Kris loves plastic surgery!).
Though the $2 million price tag seems a little steep for Kylie’s natural lip fillers alone, perhaps her surgeries haven’t been in vain after all. Now living apart from the shadows of her stunning big sister, Kim, Kylie’s plans to improve her looks seem to has worked as she has captured the attention of Hollywood with numerous job offers for modeling and television appearances. Looks like the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree when it comes to fame, fortune and going under the knife.
#1 – Jocelyn Wildenstein ($2 Million)
Who other than Jocelyn Wildenstein could top our celebrity plastic surgery list? Also known as “Cat Woman,” Wildenstein is a New York City socialite whose series of unnecessary plastic surgeries over the last three decades have racked up a $2 million bill and left her looking more like a nightmarishly evil cat. Hold your cat calls, ladies and gents, this one is a doozy!
Opting for her first surgery shortly after her 1978 marriage to French billionaire Alec Wildenstein, Jocelyn told surgeons that she wanted to look more like a cat because her husband loved big cats. Sadly, we aren’t kidding. However, as the ink dried on the divorce papers in 1999, Alec ended up with the last laugh after a clause in their settlement prohibited Jocelyn from using any of the alimony toward plastic surgery!
Despite the fact that she terrifies children and even adults, Jocelyn adores her looks and feels quite beautiful as her eyelids and eyebrows stretch to the side of her face. With over $400,000 spent on facial reconstruction alone, procedures ranging from cheek implants and rhinoplasties to jaw implants and lip injections have transformed this once beautiful woman into one of the scariest cat ladies on the planet! Meow!
